Pakistan launched retaliatory strikes inside Iran early Thursday local time, its Foreign Ministry said, in the latest escalation of tensions in the Middle East. The attack in Iran’s Baluchistan region came two days after Iran struck targets inside Pakistan. The U.S. Navy launched a new wave of strikes against Houthi militants in Yemen, targeting about a dozen sites, U.S. officials said late Wednesday.
