Giorgio Armani breathed his last on Thursday, September 4, 2025.
The Italian fashion legend passed away at the age of 91, leaving behind is legacy of iconic red-carpet suits, and other global businesses.
Armani opened up the world to the elegance of Italian fashion, introducing innovative elements in fashion all over the world.
The business tycoon dabbled into the perfume industry, music, sports and luxury hotels as well, after launching his fashion company which made him a multi-billionaire.
The Armani Group released a statement which said, “Il Signor Armani, as he was always respectfully and admiringly called by employees and collaborators, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.”
The statement by the bereaved family and company continued, “In this company, we have always felt like part of a family. Today, with deep emotion, we feel the void left by the one who founded and nurtured this family with vision, passion, and dedication. But it is precisely in his spirit that we, the employees and the family members who have always worked alongside Mr. Armani, commit to protecting what he built and to carrying his company forward in his memory, with respect, responsibility, and love.”
The note also detailed that the late designer worked “tirelessly” till the end of his days, devoting himself to the projects under works.
