The world has been up in arms ever since The Daily Mail released one of its most shocking pieces yet—an account by a reporter who was on the ground, right in front of Thomas Markle when the video of him opening Meghan’s letter first came out.
While the only thing known about Meghan’s letter is the phrase, ‘I know you are an abuser… you will never see your grandkids,’ finally a body language expert has come out with the most tantalizing video yet, and it shows the moment Thomas Markle has the letter in hand.
A lot of other things have also been discussed in the video by The Body Language Guy Jesús Enrique Rosas. He didn’t just play the video or break down the body language cues, instead he also questioned the timing of this release, but even more than that, highlighted the most “disturbing contradiction of this exchange.”
“if this is not true, Meghan has all the grounds to sue them for defamation and I really don’t think that The Sun’s editor would gamble with something like that. So, in light of the interest and, survival, of The Sun, it’s safe to assume that this actually happened. That Meghan actually told him this. Which in turn makes Thomas Markle’s reaction to these recent accusations make no sense.”
He also said, “it makes no sense that he was ‘exposed’ just days ago, and it’s only until it became public, that he made this reaction, that he denied everything, that he ‘couldn’t do anything’ to any children.”
It was around the middle of the video that he touched on the nitty gritty of the situation.
He first said, “if Meghan wrote that letter back in December, and The Sun is willing to put their stocks at stake for this then why didn’t Thomas Markle issue a statement back then? and simultaneously, if Meghan was so sure that he was an abuser… then how come she allowed her father to be just free, with the odds that he could be still ‘harming children’?”
He only doubled down from this moment and added, “you see the level of telenovela that we’re reaching, and that someone definitely must be lying in here? Because one thing is – Thomas Markle (is) right now saying that he doesn’t actually remember the contents of the letter, because of dementia, and mental related issues.”
Only after all this was pointed out did he decide to end his though with the following words, “But… what happened to the letter itself? was it destroyed? Did they misplace it? Because if you receive a letter in which your own daughter accuses you of being a child abuser and you’re not one, the first thing that anyone would do is to call a lawyer. Or at least, keep the letter. “
